CMR commenced its business in 2006, when it put up a state-of-the-art technology plant at Tatarpur, near New Delhi. The plant deployed sophisticated technologies such as twin-shaft shredder, eddy current separator, high-capacity melting furnaces with metal circulation pump, de-coater, etc.
Some of our firsts in India that laid the foundation of our leadership position in the industry are:
- Large-scale Aluminum recycling in a largely unorganized industry
- Highly-automated alloying plant sourced from Europe
- Mechanized sorting facility with eddy current separators, shredders, spectrometers and gravimetric separation units
- Supply of molten metal to customers from side-by-side plants and over-the-road
- Has ISO 14001, TS16949, 45001 and OHSAS 18001, Research & Development certifications.

Under his leadership, CMR Group has grown exponentially to become India’s largest producer of Aluminium Alloys, Zinc Alloy, Stainless Steel scrap and Electric motor dismantling. CMR has three Joint Ventures with highly reputed organizations – Nikkei MC Aluminium, Japan, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan, and Chiho Environmental Group, China. He has been a part of various Trade Associations like FICCI, CII Haryana, Faridabad Industries Association, SAFEE, MRAI and BIR. He passionately follows in the group’s CSR activities.

Mr. Raghav Agarwal gained his Charted Accountant professional degree from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has experience of 6+ years in Finance, Information Technology and Operations of Aluminium Alloy industry.

He has more than six years of experience in Plant Operations, Projects, Supply Chain and Scrap Sales of aluminum alloys recycling industry.

When you think of automobile industry of Gujarat, brand Kataria resonates first in the mind. Leading from the front is Mr. Rohan Kataria, the 3rd generation entrepreneur of the family. Born in 1977, Rohan did his schooling in Ahmedabad and pursued MBA from Australia. He joined the automobile business at an early age of 22 years. With his knack of having hands-on experience of whatever he takes on, Rohan understood the cutting-edge aspects of all businesses and keeping up the legacy of the group in diversified businesses such as automobile, insurance, finance, recycling logistics and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Mishra brings in all-encompassing experience of over 30 years in automotive and media industries. Before joining Kataria Group, he was spearheading business decisions at Mahindra and Mahindra.
